Homework due for today

  1. Read “Lean Startup” Intro, Chapter 2 and 3. Prepare for an in class discussion!.
  2. Read and think about Pilot Project (P2P Tours). Deliverable: Forum Post: Briefly write up your thoughts and more detailed ideas for the pilot project.
  3. Read: Inventor who gave his idea away and Students Inventing Programs to Streamline Their Colleges. Deliverable: Forum post: Respond to one of these two articles. Thoughts, disagreements, insights, reflections
  4. Read: Product ideas. You will be free to use any of these. See if any of them appeal to you, you will use them in your brainstorming below.

Term Projects Kickoff

In week 5 (Frame 1) we will begin working on the term projects. Between now and then we will be coming up with ideas, writing them up, etc.

Next Class

  • Plan ahead! every student will have to create at least one Term Product Brief. As we brainstorm about product ideas you can start collecting the ones that you like and want to put forward as your proposed term project brief.
